THE USE OF REWARDS FRAMEWORK AS ENCOURAGING THE DEVELOPMENT OF AUTONOMY IN CHILDREN

This study aimed report the implementation experience of a rewards framework in students of 5th year of elementary school. These students had undesirable behavior in the classroom, which undermined the process of teaching and learning. The application ofrewardsframework alloweda change in thebehavioral repertoirein 85% ofstudentswho presented those behaviors. These changeslead to a greaterstudents’ socialization, fostering cooperationamong students. The specific literature concerning to student’s rewards framework, allowed a better understanding of behavioral modification process of unwanted attitudes in the classroom, with a positive reinforcements to be used immediately.
