SHORT DISCURSIVE ANALYIS OF THE SITCOM AND ITS IMPACT ON THE PUBLIC

Abstract

Television, today, is part of the people’s in an effective way life. In the last two decades the calls sitcoms, or simply habit comedies, became true trump cards in the grating of the television channels in Brazil. We noticed that there was a representative production in the national market, however the American series are still in wide climbs in the grating of the broadcasting stations, and they were still spread, with the emergence massivo of channels to cable. In fact, this type of television format, based on short and funny histories, with a reduced number of actors, exists almost for fory years, what denotes its success with the public. What is intended here is to build an analysis of the sitcom Friends, an American creation that had its beginning in 1994, and exhibited its last episode in 2004, after ten uninterrupted years. For this, besides technical data, we will take as base one of the 236 episodes of the series.
